MHS PTO is hosting a "Back to School Brunch" for Teachers and Staff 10:30 am on Thursday, August 16th
Parent assistance is needed in providing items for this event. We are asking parents to send in breakfast casseroles, quiche, kolaches/sausage or bacon, muffins, fruit, sandwiches, etc and beverages such as lemonade, waters and frappuccinos for this special event. We will be serving brunch to more than 150 adults.
Non-perishable items may be dropped off at the front office Monday 8/13 - Wednesday 8/15labeled "Back to School Brunch". All perishable hot and cold items can be dropped off as early as 9:00 am on Thursday, August 16th.
Several volunteers are also needed from 8 am - 10:30 amto help set up. We also need parent assistance to help serve during the event from 10:30 am - 1 pm. We will be giving away door prize drawings during the breakfast. Please consider contributing a door prize gift basket, gift cards, services offered, etc. and help us make this event a success and start our 2018-2019 school year off right! If you have something you would like to contribute, it can be dropped off at the front office labeled MHS PTO - Back to School Brunch. Thank you for your support!

Senior Group Photo: Attention ALL Seniors...Tuesday, March 27th is your senior panoramic picture. You need to be at the Ag greenhouse behind the gyms Tuesday morning at 6:45am. We will do the big picture, a funny picture and an 18 formation picture. The picture package prices can be found here. You can order your package on Tuesday and then Wed or Thurs pay while you are picking up your package during lunches. If you have been in Montgomery schools from kindergarten until 12th grade we will do the traditional K-12 picture after right after all the panoramic pictures. This picture is for the yearbook. Tuesday 6:45 AM.
Scholarship Letters: Have you received an award letter for a scholarship? Please drop a copy off at the College and Career Center or the Counseling Center so we can be sure to include you in our Senior Scholars Night Program. Please have your letters in by April 9th. The Class of 2017 earned more than $4.3 million in scholarships... Let's Do This Class of 2018! Check the scholarship database frequently! The list is growing!
Senior Scholars Night is scheduled for May 3rd. A reception will take place in the Montgomery High School West Cafeteria at 6:00pm with the presentation of awards following at 6:30pm in the Montgomery High School Auditorium. This is an invitation-only event for students to be able to participate. To be invited you must turn in your "accepted" scholarship awards. You may also turn in your offers but only "accepted" will be recognized during the program. Any college scholarship "accepted" award needs to be turned into Mrs. LaBruyere by April 9th. These will be printed in the program. After April 9th the "accepted" scholarships will be recognized verbally only. Written verification is necessary in order for students to be recognized in the program and ceremony.
Seniors, Bear TV is starting to work on the Senior Tribute video that will play at both prom and graduation. We are needing pictures of you and your friends throughout your time in MISD. While we cannot promise to use every picture that is sent in, we will use at least one picture from each person that submits them. We are looking for GROUP pictures, not individual ones. They can be from school trips, field trips, spring break vacations, summertime on the lake, athletics, or any other functions. Remember pictures must be school appropriate. Don't be left out of the video tribute! Pictures can be emailed to Mrs. McGrath at: email@example.com all pictures should be sent before Monday February 19th. Late submissions will be next to impossible to add. Don't delay, Send your pictures TODAY!
Black Light Dance
Don't miss the last all MHS dance ever. Celebrate the end of an era at the annual Black Light Dance this Saturday night in the gym from 8PM to 11PM. Each MHS student may purchase one ticket in the www.myschoolbucks.com online school store or in the cafeteria at all lunches on Wednesday through Friday of this week using a debit or credit card, cash, or a check made out to MHS. Tickets are fifteen dollars each and dress is casual. Tickets will not be sold after 4PM on Friday so be sure to purchase your ticket before 4PM Friday. You must arrive at the dance before 9PM.
